Next residency opportunity in 2010

Two writers have already been selected for eight-week residencies in early 2010. These will run from mid-January to mid-May.

The Michael King Writers' Centre is now calling for applications for two further residencies in 2010: the Maori Writer's Residency (eight weeks from May to July) and The University of Auckland Residency for six months starting in July. These residencies are offered thanks to the support of Te Waka Toi, Creative New Zealand and The University of Auckland.

Visiting writers

Writers are also able to stay in the second bedroom at the centre for short periods on a paying basis (see the Visiting Writers section for details about the accommodation and the modest prices which apply). Please contact the administrator about availability.
