Fiona Murphy – 2025 Australian Residency Exchange – to MKWC

Fiona Murphy is a Blue Mountains-based award-winning writer and arts critic. Her memoir, The Shape of Sound, was published in 2021. She was a MacDowell Fellow in 2022 and the Peter Blazey Fellow in 2024.

During her residency, Fiona is working on her debut novel, The Thirteenth Person, about deaf jurors in Australia.
