Kate Mildenhall is the author of Skylarking and The Mother Fault, which was longlisted for the ABIA Awards and shortlisted for the Aurealis Award for Best Science Fiction Novel.

Kate co-hosts The First Time podcast and lives in Hurstbridge, in the hills outside Melbourne.

Kate’s residency was delayed from 2021 to October 2022 due to Covid. While in residence she worked on her third novel.
